In 2009, Shenzhen Textile Group completed the acquisition of shares of Lekai Group and SDIC Hi-Tech Co., Ltd., and “Shenzhen Shenfang Lekai Optical Electronic Materials Co., Ltd.” was renamed as “Shenzhen Shengbo Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.”.

On November 18, 2009, the company's "TFT-LCD polarizer" project was officially launched. Municipal Party Committee Secretary Wang Rong, Mayor Xu Qin and relevant leaders of the municipal government attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the project.

In March 2010, the large-size TFT-LCD polarizer project was identified as “Shenzhen 2010 Major Project”.
